Aromatic Cedar Lumber
Aromatic Cedar has a strong, distinct smell that is easily recognizable and most often found in cedar chests, wardrobes, anywhere clothes will be stored. The heartwood is a dark red with a contrasting white or yellow sapwood. It has a straight grain, and being mostly found in a 1 Common & Better grade will have knots throughout the board. Aromatic Cedar is a good option for lining closets or chests, used in veneers for plywood, and a good option for exterior uses such as fence posts or outdoor furniture.
