Birch Import Veneer MultiPly Core 4x8 Sheet
Import birch whole piece face veneer laminated on both sides to an import veneer core sheet made with alternating veneer inner plies.
The core is made with a phenolic (moisture resistant) glue and manufactured with minimal voids, similar to a Baltic birch core.
Veneer core panels are relatively light in comparison with composite panels, typically weighing about 70 lbs. per 3/4" panel. Veneer core offers great strength and stability with better spanning properties than either PBC or MDF. Veneer core does have a wider variance in thickness in comparison with highly engineered PBC or MDF.
