Cherry Lumber
Cherry- Having a fairly straight grain and fine texture, cherry is often regarded by many woodworkers as one of the nicest, easiest species to work with. The heartwood colour may range from a light pink to yellow, and the sapwood is often a light-yellow colour. Our stock is primarily a select and better grade, meaning 5.5” wide and wider, with a 90/50 split of heartwood to sapwood. The face will be 90% heartwood and the back may be as little as 50% heartwood. The 1 common grade will allow for more colour variation, narrower boards, and fewer clear cuttings.
