Birch Lumber
Yellow Birch is available in select and better grade (3.5” wide and wider) 4/4 thickness. Birch will have a very nice, white sapwood on the face. The heartwood tends to be a reddish brown, which will be more present on the back of the board. Birch grain may be slightly wavy, with a fine texture. Birch is widely used as veneers for plywood, and is a great option for turning, gluing, and finishes well.
