This Chantilly Lace PVC edgebanding is intended for use with standard edgebanding machinery. Thanks to its wide operating window, you can achieve consistent, high-quality results reliably across various equipment and workshop conditions. This simplifies the application process and minimizes issues such as poor adhesion or trimming difficulties on both straight and curved components.
PVC edgebanding requires appropriate adhesive and edgebanding machinery. It is not applied with a household iron.
PVC edgebanding is the preferred choice in high-traffic environments. It is ideal for office furniture, kitchen and bathroom cabinets, and children’s furniture where surfaces are prone to bumps, spills, and heavy use. The flexibility of PVC means it can be applied smoothly to radii and contours where melamine or wood edgebanding may be difficult to use. Thicker PVC edgebanding can also provide a substantial edge profile and allow for easing or rounding of the edge.
When budget is the most important factor and/or a very thin edge profile is acceptable, consider melamine edgebanding. For projects requiring a perfect match and seamless transition with solid wood surfaces, use veneer edgebanding.
