Creamy white sapwood. Generally straight grained with a slight “cathedral” look. It has a fine, even texture.
Machinability: Machines reasonably well, with the exception of when wavy grain is present. Its density necessitates pre-drilling for screws. It can be stained and polished satisfactorily.
